Torso Armor

Just whipped up a quick & easy design for the chest piece.

Forseeable challenges would be riveting along the curve (requiring multiple small brackets/tabs) and mounting the head so the chestpiece can swing up.

Bunjee Ankles

Can't find a compression spring that fits the bike suspension pistons and has the weight rating I need. So I decided to mod it into an expansion/compression stabilizing system. AKA many bungee cords.

I can balance on one foot now rather easily. No proof though: temp dropped and I don't wanna go out in my cold garage. Bad enough I gotta wrestle with my snowblower to keep it from shaking apart

Also whipped up a quick covering. Tempted to add in a few more curves now I'm getting the hang of freeforming stuff.

Arm Range Test

Weather warmed up enough so I could flail about with my giant robot arms.  Nifty.

Pilot suit & Greebles

Worked on the pilot suit a bit. No digital templates, just winged it.  Foam matting is surprisingly good at absorbing an impact.  At least when I was punching myself anyway.

Back Design

Sub-Zero temps means my garage isn't much warmer so I've moved some of my operations indoors. Designed some back armor type stuff:

Initial Bowden System testing

Finally got around to trying the arms.  Unfortunately I almost knock out a light!
